Oresome Open Studio Event

Oresome Open studio Event 29th Sep – 1st October 2022

Nicola and I are excited to announce that we will be opening up our workshop at the end of September 2022. This will be the first time that we have hosted an open studio event in our new home in the leafy suburb of Sutton near to Hull in East Yorkshire.

As we are changing our work there will be a last chance to buy some of our current bespoke and limited-edition pieces of jewellery.

We will be taking repair enquires, so if you have anything that needs some TLC please bring it along with you so we can take a look.

Thinking of having a piece of jewellery made? come and have a free consultation with us. We will be happy to answer any questions you have.

We will be hosting this open studio at our workshop in Sutton.

Our Opening times will be:

Thursday 29th Sep 11am - 6pm

Friday 30th Sep 11am - 6pm

Saturday 1st October 10am - 4pm

We will look forward to seeing your there.

Jewellery from everyday objects

Jewellery from everyday objects

Nicola and I are excited to announce that the project and exhibition that we have been working on over the past few months is now open to see.. well at least virtually for the moment. We hope the the exhibition will be open to the public at Goole Museum in May 2021.

The project was to create exciting and innovative pieces of art jewellery inspired from everyday objects. As part of the project we have had the privilege of working with renowned sculptor and art jeweller Jaqualine Stieger. Through working closely with Stieger we were able to explore her use of innovative casting techniques that give a greater freedom for creating more exploratory and innovative work.

Steiger has been taking inspiration from everyday objects for a long time now. Items that many people might consider inconsequential, for Stieger have inspired a piece of stunning art Jewellery.

Some of her past work has been inspired by items such as bandages, plastic tablecloths and babies nappies as a starting point for her innovative and inspirational pieces.

This exhibition and work was funded by Arts Council England and support form Goole Museum and Boyes Stores

The exhibition will be open to the public on 17th May, all being well.

For now you can view the exhibition on line here.

We hope you enjoy it
